I knew it was a TV movie and thought I would never find it on DVD. Sure, it has the look of a 70's movie to it (including the production values) but that doesn't really matter to me. If you like classic horror , tv suspense in the era of the 1970's as I do. The gargoyle makeup is, for the times, very good. But before much more can be learned, the place is ripped apart and the old man lies dead & burned in the ruins.

It's not what you'd expect from a Disney cartoon- it's darker, more dramatic, a great mix of sci-fi and fantasy. DVD played with no issues, it is in full screen and states it is in format that the movie originally played.
