This took the remaining members, plus Christine Perfect, John's wife at the time, to California. I was fascinated to read about the beginning of Fleetwood Mac and how the band has changed from humble beginnings into superstardom. I do admit my bias to reading books about rock stars and this one was about the same as many I have read. This book made me feel like I'd just stepped into a time-machine. In the beginning he tells us his inability to learn in school and his difficulty concentrating when trying to read. Reviews.

I'd love to read a more objective/in-depth account of the Peter Green/Jeremy Spencer/Danny Kirwan years, not to mention the Bob Welch era, which I think is really underrated. He definitely couldn't do anything else....and i imagine he even dictated this book....to be co-written (just for some spending cash, of course! I always enjoy reading anything about the Fleetwood Mac saga...it is endlessly amusing to me for some reason.
