PhotoPills also has AR modes available in the FoV and focusing features. Augmented Reality is available offline; Geodetics is not available offline. Both apps take the ephemeris to a new level with their Augmented Reality (AR) features. I don’t rely on sunsets & sunrises every day for my line of work, and it wasn’t accurate enough. If you’re looking for “modern,” PhotoPills compared to TPE feels much more current. Please note that the accuracy of the AR feature depends strongly on calibrating your device.
