I always forget how far it is from the cashier to the actual cinema, though - it's up a biiig escalator and a few minutes walk, but that's no biggie.There is always a queue too, both for the tickets and the food, so prepare time for that.The only thing about this particular cinema is the heat - they must have it on full blast because I always work up a sweat watching the movies. Book tickets for the latest films online with 2D, 3D, IMAX and IMAX 3D options. Secondly, the staff here are really friendly, maybe becuase they havnt had a chance to hate customers yet because they see so few. Shopping will be a little different for a while and there will be a range of measures in place to keep you safe as well as staff. Good cinema, great location. I'll pick an indie cinema over the big guys any day, but I do like this cinema regardless. For a blockbuster like Star Wars, this felt like the right place, rather than than the somewhat more sophisticated feel of the Filmhouse. Staggered film times will be implemented to maintain physical distancing and reduce the number of people at any one time in foyers and corridors.
Also, I really don't need reminded that a large popcorn and large drink is only 50p more. A really nice atmosphere, always a pleasant night/day out. It ended up being my choice for seeing the latest Star Wars on opening day.
