I can't even get on the waiting list and this happened to me four months in a row. I am proud to be a member for the past 11 years on their baking team and supporting spouses. There is a team that has virtual baby showers for expecting spouses of deployed military. Some of these service members are straight out of high school, mere kids themselves. Skills, a sewing machine and fabric. Now that I am a combat veteran I give back by sending a box monthly to a female soldier through the LOL- Ladies of Liberty group. It is a huge spread out family who have one goal. I'm part of the group that sends baked goods overseas to our service members.

Volunteer The Women of Valor program focuses on the female caregivers of post-9/11 wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans. This is an organization and work I believe in. They risk it all for us and it's my pleasure sending them things to make their deployment a little easier, PAFried I have always wanted to do something to help our military and this is perfect. I have in the past couple months joined soliders angels! Angels can work in the corporate office, provide support at one of the many Veteran Mobile Food Distributions in cities across the country (Atlanta, Georgia; Charleston, South Carolina; Denver, Colorado; Detroit, Michigan; Orlando, Florida; San Antonio, Texas) or assist Soldiers’ Angels at any one of the many VA Medical Centers or clinics.
